My name is Kenan Rabah and I have been baking professionally for the past 6 years… and unprofessionally since I was able to reach my mom’s countertops. My position as head baker at Lost Bread Co. took my passion for baking to new levels, giving me the skill and confidence needed to start my own venture.

Majdal Bakery has been a dream of mine ever since I moved to the United States in 2015. I come from the Golan Heights - Syrian territory under Israeli occupation. Due to this political situation, most of the people who live there don’t have a legal nationality. It simply says “undefined” on our documents. My dream with Majdal Bakery is to present this amazing culture and its food in the best way I know how to, which is baking.

I hope that I can help “define” Majdal in this way.
